Well, this is all going by rather quickly! Over the past 3 weeks (weeks 7,8 & 9) I've been drowning in assessment! However I've scraped the bottom of the jar for time and have managed to take part in the collaboration activities offered through the discussion board. I've been very fortunate to team up with Andrea, and I think we've been doing great considering schedule and timing. Although a larger group would have more contributions I feel its definitely easier just having to worry about one other person. I will admit it’s been tough being accountable for my own learning, so having the responsibility of someone else’s did add pressure; fortunately this pressure had a positive effect and forced me to actively take part. Here’s a little gander at our email exchange, nothing too intense I can assure you!

I do love how we both just got in and got involved, adding ideas, editing ideas and generally not having an issue whatsoever, again the benefit of only working with another person. Also doing the majority of this course alone, it was refreshing to get inspired by someone else’s ideas and jointly discuss the outcomes and follow through. But I am here to discuss the TECH! So obviously across this course there have been all kinds tools offered, tried and suggested. The suggestions which came up in the collab session alone were plentiful! Now as mentioned in previous posts, when it comes to software I’m quite happy sticking with what I know because I know it will get the job done, however this course has pushed me to challenge the software that I use. I actually ended up doing quite a bit research over different educational presentation software and together with Andrea’s and our ELA’s contribution have devised up quite a list. I eventually got around to organising this list in one of the many mind-mapping outlets. Take a look!
Last bust not least definitely check out this amazing site- Cool Tools For School!!! An absolute fantastic collation of various tools all grouped under their main purpose and a detailed description for each. I can most definitely see this site being useful in future lesson planning!
